ABOUT US
At Manes Architecture & Interiors, every project begins with the belief that a home should be both thoughtful and deeply personal. Founded by husband-and-wife team Jack and Josh Manes, the Brooklyn-based firm is a full-service architecture and interior design practice known for creating warm, modern environments that feel timeless yet distinctly individual.
As a boutique, principal-led studio, each project receives the founders’ direct involvement from concept through completion. Their signature style, rooted in warm modernism, balances architectural precision with a sense of ease. Natural materials, tonal palettes, and custom details lend depth and quiet sophistication to every space. Sustainability is central to their philosophy: a long-view approach that prioritizes honest materials, refined construction, and design built to last.
Recent projects include a duplex gut renovation in the Meatpacking District, a serene pied-à-terre in Chelsea, and a ground-up residence in Westhampton Beach, which received an AIA Award in the Residential Single Family Home category. While the studio primarily serves the New York tri-state area, they take on select projects nationwide.
Each home by Manes Architecture & Interiors reflects a deep understanding of how people live—and a belief that great design should be defined by integrity, craftsmanship, and longevity.
