Nestled into the hillside of a woodlands setting, this unique luxury home has a warm palette of materials including travertine walls and Ipe vertical siding, on a steel structure.  With views of the trees and nature, this site provides a tranquil respite from city life. The lower level is built out of travertine slabs and the main level is composed of large glass walls intermingling with the travertine to open up the views and daylight to the living spaces.  The upper level, housing the bedrooms, are composed of a vertical Ipe rainscreen with curving radiused corners to soften the façade and frame out unique panoramic views. The upper floor cantilevers in different directions to create and interplay of light, shade, cover and open air.
